ROMO Productions is a woman-owned and operated small business that was established in 1997 as an alternative to offshore production of technical garments. Over the past couple of decades, it has been a struggle to convince garment manufacturers to produce domestically. As our pay wages here in the U.S. differ greatly from that of most countries overseas, manufacturers are determined to save money and resources by sending their production offshore.
To compete with this, ROMO Productions has to be resourceful. Prospective clients want to hand over their garment, pass up the intermediary steps, and come back when the production is complete. ROMO is able to accommodate this by creating a one-stop shop whereby everything from the cutting and sewing to the patterns, samples, dying, and washing are coordinated under one roof. Today, manufacturers face a new dilemma; their clients’ allegiance to the U.S. is becoming stronger as the economy is becoming weaker. The need to manufacture on American soil has become a great advantage to ROMO.
Today, ROMO bids on both commercial and government contracts. We are proud to work with all businesses; whether an organization is just getting started or has been established for decades, we welcome everyone to contact us.
ROMO Productions is government approved, Cage Code, Small Business, and Women-Owned certified and belongs to the Better Business Bureau. As well, we are in the process of ISO, Hub, and 8A certification to better serve you and your needs.
